Wheelthrowing for Beginners

Come and learn wheelthrowing in English!

Take a peek into the wonderful world of wheel throwing. Have you dreamed of trying it out? Do your skills need refreshing? Have you already worked with ceramics by hand but wish to try wheel throwing? Wheel throwing is challenging but fun. In this course, you'll get a chance to test wheel throwing and to practice. The finished pieces will be glazed and fired by Clayhem, and you will be informed by email when they are ready for pickup. (Approximately 4 weeks)

Please note, that participation to this course cannot be altered or cancelled when there is two weeks to the course. In case of illness you can transfer the space to your friend, just let us know about the changed name. 

Beginner wheel throwing class with Danielle Yukari

1st time  Course introduction, learning how to wedge, center clay and throw a basic cylinder cup.
2nd time Learning how to trim pieces, practicing new shapes - bowl and neck form.
3rd time Repetition 

The teacher is ceramist Danielle Yukari

This class is taught in English.

The course takes mx 8 participants. 

Please wear clothes that don't startle the mess. 

The finished course work can be picked up approximately 4 weeks after the course, we will notify you by email
Please pick up the finished work within four weeks of the completion date. 

We sell uncollected works at seasonal sales or donate them to charity.

Price 250 € includes materials, teaching, firing, glazing, coffee, tea and VAT.
