Weekend Ceramics Course in Helsinki

Come and relax In this two-afternoon course!

You will have the opportunity to create pieces in two afternoons in the most beautiful ceramic studio in Helsinki! Wether you have experience or not, this course is suitable for you allowing everyone to work according to their own skill level. You can make pieces such as a small tealight lantern, mugs or bowls, or other gifts/decorative items suitable for you or your friends. You can make several pieces during these days or you can focus on your bigger piece and polish it well. You will also paint your clay work with coloured clay slips and try scraffito or stensil decoration. 

1st session on Saturday 14th March: Design and creation of pieces, getting to know the techniques and tools

2nd session on Sunday 15th March: Continue making pieces or finish and polish your piece from yesterday. Also paint the pieces with colour slips.

The course is open to 18 participants

Finished course works can be collected two weeks after the course. Please pick up your finished works within four weeks of the email that gives info pieces being ready for pick up. 

Dates:

The course fee is €135, which includes instruction, clays, glazes, coffee and tea, and VAT at 25,5%.

Please note that the rescheduling or cancellation of this class needs to be done 2 weeks prior to it. We are unable to reschedule after that. In this case you can transfer your place to a friend, just let us know about the name change.
